"Millennium DXL2 vs. Sony Fs7 Camera Shootout"
-Spring 2022-
The Millennium DXL2 was compared to the Sony FS7 through a series of rigorous tests covering dynamic range capabilities, color reproduction, noise, image sharpness, and compositing. This technical shootout served to investigate the quality differences between a professional-level and an indie-level cinema camera as well as understand the engineering and image processing behind each image.
"An Implementation of Image water-colorization"
-April 2022-
As part of my Image Processing and Computer Vision course, we read through technical papers on different image-based algorithms. For this project, I created a C++ implementation of image water-colorization. To demonstrate my understanding of the paper, I chose to create a short film to show my results.
"Death By Society"
-January 2020-
As part of Studio Week, a week at the beginning of each semester dedicated to the completion of a specific course, I was randomly paired with a group and tasked with creating a short film. We worked to effectively combine our talents and interests to create "Death By Society", a short-film, narrated by an original spoken word poem, that aims to highlight the morbid results of societal pressures.  We had one day to prep, one day to shoot, and one day to edit so that the film could be shown by the end of the week. For this project, I was the cinematographer and editor.
Human Interest Story - "College: Where are People At?"
-October 2018-
The Human Interest Story assignment required students to choose an interesting topic relating to the school and create a two minute documentary on the subject. I chose to highlight the college application process and where students were at in the process. I interviewed a few current seniors, filmed, and edited the video.
