Technical Theater
Jesuit High School Theater Department
 Student Leader 2015-2019
Throughout the entirety of my high school career, I was a part of the technical theater program at my school. I became a trusted leader in the program and someone people often went to for help. I was a key crew member for well over 20 productions in positions such as assistant stage manager, lead sound, lead lights, master electrician, and stage manager. I became known for my technical abilities and knowledge of all different areas. My main area of expertise was in lighting. Though my official role was often lighting related, I also played a major role in the construction of the set and all around preparations for the production. For every show, I worked to fulfill the duties of my role and assist wherever I could. I was awarded the Drama Department award my freshman year. Senior year, when they divide drama and technical theater into their own categories, I was awarded the Technical Theater Department award in recognition for my work in the program over the years. I continue to grow my understanding of the craft and stay active in the field.

Summer Intern 2015-2019
As an intern, my responsibilities included supervising and teaching middle school campers about technical theater, helping to build and paint a set, working with a team under tight deadlines, running a production, and coordinating work between multiple groups. The entire camp was split up into numerous groups that all met at different places, at different times, to work on different aspects of the show.  Part of my job required me to travel out of town to learn what the actors have prepared and take note of specific cues and if anything needs to change with the set. Upon returning, I would teach what I learned to the students and they would experience what it is like to run a show.
